Transform - Text Processing Utility

Transform is a utility that processes text and replaces instances of text according to user supplied substitutions. For example, you could have text consisting of lines like

interface Fastethernet 0/0
 ip address %[address] %[mask]

the utility would replace the %[address] and %[mask] strings by parameters you specify. There are two ways to use the product:

Create a separate rule file defining the parameter names and substitution strings, and use the TRANSFORMER image to process an input file and produce an output file.
Use the API routines in the sharable image to define rules and process text, to perform the transformations within your code program.

Transform comes with full sources and documentation (and no formal support).
